At the Cliffs of Moher
• Scallop and Mussel have found a Claddagh Ring at the Cliffs of Moher.
• The ring has an inscription with two names, a date and a place :
• “ with love , Mary and Sean. Galway 2006”.
• They had therefore travelled to Galway. They are searching for the owner of the ring.

We have seen some celtic musical instruments
• A bodran is a celtic instrument similar to a drum.
• It´s is pronounced bow´-rahn.
• Bones are also celtic instruments.
• They´re called bones because in the old days they were made of bones.
• To play them you have to hold them between the fingers of one hand and shake your hands so that they clack against each other.

We have also learnt that the harp is the symbol of Ireland
![Page 12: 5galway](https://reader035.vdocument.in/reader035/viewer/2022081516/5556fbb6d8b42a274d8b4684/html5/thumbnails/12.jpg)
At the Spanish Arch.
• Suddenly they heard some voices saying:
• Go to Connemara!• Go to Connemara!• Hush! Listen!• Hey, what´s that?
![Page 13: 5galway](https://reader035.vdocument.in/reader035/viewer/2022081516/5556fbb6d8b42a274d8b4684/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)
They ask a Leprechaum about the voices.
• Those are the voices of the Children of Lir
• The Leprechaum tells them the story of the Children of Lir.
• Perhaps we should go to Connemara!
• You may find the owner of the ring there!

Sometimes the voices of the Children of Lir are heard in the
West of Ireland
