Lamborghini 50th anniversary grand toUr

this journey began in the poster-covered walls of a boy’s childhood bedroom

in haarlem, the netherlands. growing up, dennis van der see, like many boys

was obsessed with super-cars and dreamed that one day he’d drive the most

powerful and beautiful of them – the Lamborghini. in may 2013 these dreams

became reality. he was invited by his life-long friend – a Lamborghini owner –

to participate in an unforgettable trip through the tuscan countryside.

5 days, 700 contestants, 350 Lamborghinis and 8 spectacular pit stops in

honor of Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary.

today vlammensee (1970) lives in amsterdam and works as a freelance

graphic designer, illustrator and interior stylist for design agencies and retailers

like 72andsunny, sidLee and tommy hilfiger. this collection of photographs

celebrates Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary tour through his eyes. With his

Canon eos 7d vlammensee captures the journey in a conceptual way,

using the shapes and colours of the iconic cars and italian countryside

to create a powerful atmosphere. With no retouching and only a small touch

of color correction to images, each image mesmerizes the viewer, and teases

the Lamborghini enthusiast to recognize the different car models.

could not be more beautiful except for the moment when a Lamborghini

thunders through driven by someone who has spent their life dreaming of this day.
