    Long Street Church is one of a small group of frame Classical Revi val Presbyterian ch.urch8s built by Scottish settlers i11 the Upper Cape Fear Rive]' Valley in the mid-nineteenth century. The building is set on a bluff in the pine barrens of Hoke County, and a cemetery surrounded by a Imv stone ~rall is located to the southeaste Long street, which for'merly ran between the church and cemetery, is now located behind the churcb, .
