The committee of this community set up this projec t with the purpose of pgrading the community’s environment but then it realized that this project could generate great profits and hence it executed this project on a commercial basis and thereby created jobs for its members. Other kinds of jobs followed, as well as c o-ordination with the ne two rks of a djacent c om munities in the maintenance of cleanliness in the canal that runs through the communities. Plans are afoot to set up eight more centers for recyclable materials so that the total volume of collected materials would be large enough for direct transport to the processing plant On the economic side: Promotes and supports vocational training to community members, that is, for operating the center for recyclable materials commercially and the proceeds from this project are used to develop the center into a comprehensive undertaking which generates income to community members.
