Process• In this screenshot of my work, you can see that I have designed the

background using a solid black background. I then removed the background of the leaves and then inserted them on top of the black background which made my final background for all of my products. To do this I used the magic eraser tool, which selects a single block colour and removes everything which is that colour. I then used the same tool to remove the background colour of the logo from Spotify and apple music. I decided to remove the background from all of these different images because it makes my overall final product more professional and aesthetically appealing.

• I also made a rectangular outline in the middle of the album cover and at the top. I have done this, because in the middle of the rectangle I am going to include the name of the album and information the album. I did this by using the rectangular marquee tool. This tool enabled me to make rectangular shapes as thick and how ever long I wanted so that I could make them in to a square on my album cover. I though that this was a good tool to use for this because I was quickly able to make a thin rectangle which I could fill in using the paint bucket tool. This was very quick and simple to do which saved me time when completing more complex elements in my work.

• To complete this background for my final cd cover, I chose to use the program Photoshop, this allowed me to use all of the tools which I needed to complete my final products.

• I personally think that my audience will like the beginning layout of my album cover. They will be able to tell that my album is going to include tropical genred music because of the background which I have designed includes big tropical forest leaves which is what make the album look tropical.

Process• In this screenshot of my final front cover you can

see that I have taken time to choose the correct font for my work. I used the website Da font and spent a good amount of time choosing my font. I finally chose this font because I personally think that it suits the tropical theme of my albumcover. I then downloaded the font into Photoshop so that I could use it in my work. After writing the title I then moved the different words in to multiple different positions so that I could find the best layout for my album cover.

• After inserting my text on the front of my album cover, I decided to use the stamp tool to fill In any gaps from when I edited the leaves, I also used the eraser tool to cut out any mistakes on the CD cover. I did this so that my final albumcover was finished to a professional standard.

• I personally think that my final front cover for my album looks aesthetically appealing to me and my target audience which is one of my aims to complete when I finish this project.

• My audience will like this stage of my process in making my final album cover because took time in decided which font to use. I finally chose to use the font Mistral which I think perfectly matches with the tropical genre of the album.

Process • This is a screenshot of my final back cover for my album. I used many different tools to come out with this full competed back cover. One tool which I used was the rectangular marquee tool. This tool enabled to place a coloured layer over the the back ground in a specifically chosen place. I then used the opacity tool to change how see through the layer is. I then decided to change the blending options for the layer so that I could alter the colour slightly to represent a different between the front and the back cover.

• I also used the magic wand tool helped me to remove the background for the “compact DISC digital audio” logo. This has made my overall back cd cover completed at a higher standard.

• I think that this back cover looks very nice, the way that I have chosen the colour of the tropical leaves match the colour of the background. I also like that fact that I have not included a lot of information on the rear of the cd.

• I think that my audience will like this process of me creating my rear album cover because you call tell that I have used the the same background as I used for the front of the album cover however I have added a linear light over the top of the original background which think has changed the overall design of the background, it is very vibrant and eye catching, which means my audience will be able to spot out my CD cover from others.

Process • in this screenshot of my work, you can see that I have designed the main background and have added basic features such as the ' tle and sponsers. For thebackground I used the gradient tool which alowed me to alter the background so that it faded fromdark grey to a lighter grey. I then used the paint bucket tool to fill in the shade if grey in the middle in white, ehich I think has made my bacground for myposter look very effec' ve and finised at a proffesinal standard.

• I also used the pollygon lasso tool to go around thebackground of the spo'fy and apple music logo which was a quick change to my work which mademy poster look a lot more appealing and completed to a higher standard.

• I also spent a lot of time choosing a font (Mistral). I took a while deciding on my final font because I wanted a simple but but very aesthetically appealing font which is unique to my poster.

• My audience will like this process of my final poster because of how modern it looks. I have chosen to design a very simple layout and background, in my opinion I think that doing this makes my poster look modern which is one layout which my audience wants to see which I found out in my answers in my questionnaire.

Page 6: 6 fmp production reflection

Process • In this screen shot of my finally finished poster I used many different tools and techniques. One technique which I used was using the blending op' ons tool. I went through the posible op'onsand ablied a stoke around the outside of the imageof my album cover. I then layer via copied myalbum cover and decreased the overall size of thecover. I did this so that there was a gap between the image and the stoke, which I personally thinkthat it has improved my over layout and poster.

• I aslo used the magic wond tool which I used to remove the background from the black 5 stars. I chose to do this so that my postrer would look more proffesinal and I also this it shows that I understand the layout and presenta 'onal features used in posters.

• I think that this poster will appeal to my aaudience because it is very simple however effective. This will appeal to my audience because my audience is men and women aged 15+ this mean that this audience will be interested into my poster because it includes information which is expectable to this age range.

• My audience will also like this process of me designing my final poster. You can see that I have inserted my final album cover into the middle of the poster, this will help to genuinely advertise my album. I think that my audience will like the overall layout of my poster because it is very simple and modern.

Process • This is a screenshot of my final merchandise logo on one of my black hoodies for sale. To create this logo for my merchandise I simply copied my final CD front cover and edited it slightly to have a finished logo for my merchandise. I firstly removed the sponsors such as Spotify and apple music from the bottom left of the album cover.

• I then removed the artists names along the top of the cover so that I was left with just a plain cd cover with only the name of the album on the logo.

• I personally think that this is a hoodie which will sell well because it is has a modern design, which means that it will be in fashion. I also thing the design and layout of the hoodie is very aesthetically appealing.

• To design this hoodie I used the website RedBubble, this allowed me to create my clothes with my album logo on the front of my merhcnadise.

• My audience will like this design because it is the same design as my album cover. My audience will also like how simple the design layout of the hoodie is. My audience will also agree with colour of the hoodie because it matches perfectly with my album cover, the colour doesn't change the the theme of the album because black is a very mutual colour.
