Unfortunately, I rarely hear about exciting or innovativeprojects from security guard companies.
Especially ones that differentiate them from theircompetition or improve their quality of service.
“If you aren’tinnovating
you’re dying”.Innovation is critical for any company
looking to achieve healthy growth.
But the problem is, all securitycompanies are saying the samething, so it is hard to use those
functions as differentiators.
In fact, the majorityof companiesbelieve that itis theirtraining, hiring, practices,or responsivenessto customers thatsets them apart.
With that being the case, innovation in security is
more important than ever.
Here are just a few examples of companieswho have developed products or processes
that have struck me as innovative.
Being able to develop new productsor processes helps your companybuild your brand and also provides
a unique selling proposition.

The CPO program gave G4S’ customers a higherquality officer based on education and experience.
This was a great way of innovating around something thatmost companies probably could have done…but didn’t.
