E-Platform - PC Settings The below settings need to be configured before accessing the E-Platform:

I- Safari Users: Unblock Pop-up windows:

1. Click on Safari 2. Click on Preferences 3. Click on Security 4. Uncheck “Block pop-up windows”

II- Firefox Users: To access the pop-up blocker settings:

1. Click the menu button and choose Options. 2. Select the Content panel. 3. Block pop-up windows: Uncheck this to disable the pop-up blocker altogether. 4. Exceptions: This is a list of sites that you want to allow to display pop-ups.

In the Exceptions, the dialog has the following choices: 1. Allow: Click this to add a website to the exceptions list. 2. Remove Site: Click this to remove a website from the exceptions list. 3. Remove All Sites: Click this to remove all of the websites in the exceptions list.

III- Chrome Users: 1. Open Chrome. 2. Find a page that has pop-ups blocked for you.

3. At the end of the address bar, click the pop-up blocker icon . 4. Click the link for the pop-up window you'd like to see. 5. To always see pop-ups for the site, select Always show pop-ups from [site]. 6. You can change this setting anytime by following the steps above, then unchecking

"Always show pop-ups from [site]". 7. You should also Allow Flash, Images, Automatic Downloads, Sound etc… make it

“Allow” not “Allow (default)” by clicking on the below icon preceding the link:

IV- Internet Explorer Users: A. Toolbar Settings:

i. Disable Add-on Toolbars:

1. Run Internet Explorer 2. Right Click on the Tabs bar 3. Disable any Toolbar (as below example: “Yahoo Toolbar”)

ii. Remove Add-on Toolbars:

1. Go to Control Panel in the Start Menu 2. Click on “Uninstall a Program” 3. Remove any “Add-on Toolbar” (as below example: “Yahoo Toolbar”)

B. Turn Off Pop-Up Blocker

1. Run Internet Explorer 2. Click Tools 3. Select Internet Options 4. Select Privacy Tab 5. Un-check Pop-up Blocker box or 6. Go to Settings 7. Enter allowed sites http://e-quizzes.6sigmagrp.com and http://e-learning.6sigmagrp.com

C. Add 6Sigma E-Quizzes and E-Learning sites to the Trusted Sites

1. Run Internet Explorer 2. Click Tools 3. Select Internet Options 4. Select Security Tab 5. Select the zone “Trusted Sites” 6. Click on “Sites” 7. Enter allowed sites http://e-quizzes.6sigmagrp.com and http://e-learning.6sigmagrp.com

D. Restore Advance Settings

1. Run Internet Explorer 2. Click Tools 3. Select Internet Options 4. Select Advanced Tab 5. Click “Restore Advance Settings” 6. Click “Reset”
