I have used Photoshop for editing images and constructing the front cover. I feel that I have quite a lot of knowledge on this program as I often use it for editing photographs in my spare time. I knew already how to adjust the contrast, levels, saturation, etc. I also knew how to make the models appear slimmer and have a spotless face.

Some of the things I learnt was how to get two shades of colours in the masthead and how to put it behind the artist. I also didn't know how to put the American flag in the text, which I found out by searching on Youtube.

Indesign and Bridge are also programs that I have used many times. In this project I used Indesign to construct the contents page and the double page, and Bridge to make the contact sheets. Here I learnt how to make drop caps.

I used Adobe Premiere Pro CC for editing my audio interview and making it into a video, so it would be possible to upload it on Youtube. Before this project I didn't even know this program existed, so everything was new for me, but since I have used Final Cut Pro and iMovie before I found out quickly how to write texts and cut the audio file.

I have learnt how to use Slideshare to present my powerpoints and word documents, and also how to copy the html code to post it on my blog.

By using Survey Monkey, I learnt how to create surveys and easily collect information from it.
