The Children’s Choir will rehearse on Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 PM in the church. Please use the 6th St. entrance to

enter the church. We will sing at the 4:00 PM Mass on Dec.24th. There are only two rehearsals to make this happen, so be sure to come! Any questions please call Sister Philomene at 1-815-632-3027.

Join the Newman Ambassadors Club for Newman Night at your local Culvers on Dec., 8th in Dixon from 5�8 PM. 10% of the sales from Culvers goes back to Newman.�

St. Mary’s church will be accepting donations of red and white poinsettias at the Parish Center for the church on Fri., Dec.18th from 8:00 AM to noon or at the church on Sat., Dec.19th from 9:30 AM to noon.

There will be no Adoration or Benediction on Tues., Dec 8th. It is a Holy Day of Obligation for the Immaculate Conception.

St. Mary’s School will be closed Dec. 21st through Jan. 3rd for

Christmas break. �

To celebrate the Holy Father’s Jubilee of Mercy this upcoming year for the Diocese of Rockford,

St. Mary’s Church will be hosting the Holy Doors. A

“pilgrimage passport” listing all the locations in the Diocese that will host the Holy Doors will be

available to anyone to pickup in St. Mary’s Church or Parish Center. In the Parish Center you can have

your passport stamped which can be used by the pilgrim to commemorate your visit. The church will

be open from 7AM to 9 PM daily starting
