Maximising Therapy
Maximising Cost Optimisation
The 6008 CAREsystem delivers improved patient benefits by providing HighVolumeHDF® as a standard therapy with automatic maximisation of the substitution volume through AutoSub plus2. AutoSub plus feature automatically measures and evaluates the flow conditions directly inside the filter several times per minute to deliver precise information on the conditions in and across the dialyser membrane. As a result, substitution volumes can individually be maximised for every patient without any user interaction.
FX CorDiax HDF filters deliver optimal flow conditions assuring effective middle molecule removal while minimising albumin loss. This assists in achieving the full benefits of HighVolumeHDF® therapy.
Cost-effective production of ONLINE sterile and non-pyrogenic substitution fluid is possible on the 6008 CAREsystem with the DIASAFE® plus filters.
Increased simplicity is assured with the all-in-one 6008 CAREset with pre-connected bloodlines that covers all treatment modalities including HD, HighVolumeHDF® (pre/post), HF (pre/post), and SN (HD/HDF).2
More eco-friendly and sustainable
The environmental impact and financial cost of dialysis through waste management can be significant. The 6008 CAREset is compact in design, utilises a lightweight material and with its automatic emptying of disposables at the end of treatment, results in reduced waste disposal weight for the dialysis unit4.
Inventory control can also be challenging in the dialysis unit given the requirement for a multitude of consumables and the limited storage space in some dialysis units. The all-in-one 6008 CAREset helps to overcome this challenge by offering:
• A streamlined inventory and simplified ordering process
• A lower storage space requirement
• The all-in-one 6008 CAREset and covers all treatment modalities with no additional bloodlines are required for therapies such as HD, HighVolumeHDF® (pre/post), HF (pre/post), and SN (HD/HDF) (NB: Paediatric low volume bloodlines are different)
• Working towards reducing our carbon footprint with the compact design and lightweight material.

Maximising Patient Care
Maximising Simplicity and Automation
Workflow improvements:
In order to maximise safety in therapy delivery, the workflow processes have been simplified and automated to reduce major handling steps during a HighVolumeHDF® treatment versus a conventional system thereby saving on set up time.3
Key time-saving steps:
• Eliminates the need to connect the substitution line after T1 test
• The ONLINE closed-circuit reinfusion reduces the need for arterial disconnection for the reinfusion process
• Automatic emptying of the extracorporeal circuit at the end of treatment.
Giving you more confidence
The 6008 CAREsystem may decrease the risk of cross contamination through the reduced number of work flow steps and touch points with automatic connection to the integrated substitution unit for ONLINE priming and rinsing combined with the ONLINE closed circuit reinfusion.
The 6008 CAREsystem enables a 27% reduction in process steps and touch points for a fistula patient and a 23% reduction in process steps and touch points for catheter patients during a HighVolumeHDF® treatment.2
