    1. Load connector into holder and place in Hot Melt Oven. 1. Load connector into holder and place in Hot Melt Oven.

    2. Slide boot onto cable. 2. Slide boot and strain relief tube onto cable.

    3. Cut and remove 7/8" (22 mm) of jacket. 3. Strip off 3/4" (19 mm) of buffer.

    4. Strip fiber with modified No-Nik tool to leave 4. Clean with isopropyl alcohol** and lint-free cloth.1/8" (3 mm) buffer.

    6. Cut Kevlar strands to 3/16" (5 mm) length. 6. Insert fiber and strain relief tube into connector.

    7. Remove connector and holder from oven. 7. Cool in rack for 2 3 minutes.

    8. Insert fiber and Kevlar fibers straight intoconnector.

    9. Cool in rack for 2 3 minutes.

    Polishing

    1. Remove connector and holder, score fiber with flat carbide blade, pull fiber straight up to detach, shorten by handpolishing with polishing film if necessary.

    2. Perform 1-step polish using soft rubber pad to remove all adhesive.

    3. Clean connector and inspect.
