A huge thank you to the parents and students that participated in Teacher Appreciation Week! Room parents did an amazing job decorating the classroom doors. Our parents and teacher appreciation committee members kept our teachers and staff fed all week long! What an amazing week celebrating our fabulous teachers, staff, and school! The last “Thankful Thursday” was in May. Many thanks to all of you who brought in food and treats for our teachers and staff in May and all year long! We will resume our “Thankful Thursdays” in the next school year.
A special thank you to Cynthia Kane for all of her help at each of our monthly “Thankful Thursdays” and every day during Teacher Appreciation Week!
Hope everyone has a great and relaxing summer! Cindy Simmons Chair, Teacher Appreciation Committee

Summer is just around the corner. Those long lazy days are the perfect chance for students to get lost in a good book. While your student won’t have their iPad they can still access the Rocklin Academy Library by going to Rocklin Academy's Overdrive Library using any browser. To log in, just type your child’s five-digit student number. If your student does not remember their number have them ask their teacher before the year ends. Of course, don’t forget to check out the local retailer Barnes and Noble for their Summer Reading Program. They are offering a free book after your student finishes eight books (a short journal entry for each book is required).
