When conducting my music research, I had to set up a blog to put my coursework on. I set it up on blogger and that is where all of my coursework is based on. I typed most of my coursework up on blogger.

At the beginning of my music magazine research, I conducted a questionnaire to hand out to my target audience. I made my question on surveymonkey.comI learnt that electronic questionnaires is great way to target people because if you are handing out questionnaires In the street, people may not have time and it’s not annoyoumous.

When I gathered the feedback from my questionnaires, I put the results into Microsoft excel to produce pie charts to put on my blog. Pie charts area good visual way to show results from a questionnaire.

I put all of my power points for my coursework onto slide share so I can upload them to my blog. This really helped because the power points are important and a non boring way to express coursework.

I used Microsoft PowerPoint to conduct power points on. Power point is a good way of showing coursework as it’s not just written you can annotate work and add images etc...

Serif page plus was a huge part in the majority of my coursework. I designed my front cover, contents page and double page spread on serif page plus. I have learnt how to intensify the boldness of an image or logo and also how to re shape things. Serif is really helpful if Photoshop is not available to you. I knew how to use serif page plus due to previous subjects, but I feel I have gained more skills for page plus.

When in the process of my double page spread, I had to erase the background of an image completely. I did that through draw plus as school. I had been able to use draw plus as I’ve had to use it in previous subjects, but I didn’t know how to cut away at a background. I learnt very quickly and found it a very easy process and it was successful.

I used Prezi for my evaluation. I recently found out about and thought to try it out for an evaluation question. I think Prezi is very easy to get use to but it is a creative way to present coursework, it’s more creative than PowerPoint. I found it a slow process at first but as I got along I got use to it more, its a different approach to present coursework but it’s different and creative.

I used a memory stick to transfer work from school on to my memory stick so I could work from home.

This is what I worked on at home for my magazine production. I had Serif Page Plus, Draw Plus and Photo Plus on my laptop so I found it very easy to do at home as it was just the same as doing it at school. I had a webcam I could record for one of my questions and I could also access You tube from my laptop as it cannot be accessed at school.

I used my camera to take pictures for my magazine for the double page spread. The image on my front cover, I took on my friends camera at a gig and it was also a Sony cyber shot. It is very easy to connect, upload and edit photos with Sony.

Lastly, I used YouTube to upload a video presentation of me and my partner for our research. I also uploaded a video of me answering one of the evaluation questions. I found this very easy and quick.
