Limit use of Plastic bags in Taiwan!
Innitiary proposal
Goal of art evert: An ever increasing problem in Taiwan is the
massive use of plastic bags. We would like to raise the awareness toward plastic pollution and provide the young generations with self confident and feeling that they can also be part of something that changes the world. Can we find alternatives? Can we limit the use of plastic bags? Can we start adopting healthier habits?
“Who is a Hero? He who conquers his desire!” This turtle couldn’t overcome his desires. What about you? Can you restrain your desires? Delay gratification? Start adopting healthy habits today!

About 66 Taiwanese Turtles Art Program and Event The Art Program and Event have a very simple goal: to bring visitors the best selection of contemporary art from local artists, in a fun, casual, friendly atmosphere. The Art Program and Event welcome all art lovers, from local schools, tourists, first-time buyers to collectors, and introduces them to a juried selection of emerging and established artists. The Art Program and Event aim to foster interaction and to build a community of artists and visitors starting from Pier 2, Kaohsiung; at once giving visitors the chance to better understand artwork at the fair and allowing artists first-hand feedback from a live audience. Conveniently in one place, visitors are introduced to over fifty artists, working with a variety of media and styles.
Our hope is to see the Taiwanese Turtle serve as a mascot to tackle various
local problems in Taiwan and provide solutions.

About 66 Taiwanese Turtles Art Program and Event A Treasure Map Visitors are handed with a map of the art avenue, e.g. Pier 2, Kaohsiung, as to follow the route and take ‘Selfies’ with the Turtles. Next to some of the turtles there are signs that all together make a name code. The buzz around the event will rock all over Taiwan and foreign countries. Visitors that wish to win in the game, need to get to the end point –information center – and provide the solution with the selfies with the fit turtles.
