The show follows home seekers and Realtors as they trytofindtheidealbeachfront homeunderbudget. Under the belief she was being pranked by a telemar- keter, Ms. Goetzing told the representatives she “doesn’t have time for this garbage” andhungupthephone.When they called back immediately, she realized she forgot to tell the “telemarketer” not to call heragain,soshedidjustthat andhungupagain.Onlywhen shereceivedanemailwithall of the information about the show and a request to film a segmentheredidsherealizeit wasn’tajoke. “I thought I had missed a goldenopportunity,”shesaid. Ms. Goetzinger spent the first week of May filming the episode with town hom- eownersJeffandJulieSarbey, who have a young daughter, Emerson,andseveraldogs. Although she was told the episode would air on HGTV withineightto10weeks,ithas yettoappear,shesaid,although sheisexcitedtoseeit. The airdate will be announced online at www. hgtv.com/beachfront-bargain- hunt/show. When the show executives contacted her, they never told her specifically why they wanted to feature this town, accordingtoMs.Goetzinger.
