and your National Team athletes to participate in the 6th European Cadet

Taekwondo Championships which will be held in Strasbourg, France, on July

03-05, 2015. We’ll do our best to arrange the best welcome, organization and competition

on the highest level. The best international referees will guarantee maximum

4 METHOD OF COMPETITION

Competition will be WTF Rules (Single elimination tournament).

5 QUALIFICATIONS

Holder of Nationality of the participating Team, National Teams members of ETU National Federations,

WTF Global License is mandatory for all athletes and Officials, Holder of Kukkiwon Poom or Dan Certificate.

6 CONTEST TIME

1 minute 30 x 3 rounds with 1 minute break

7 AGES

CADETS: An athlete must be born in 2001, 2002 and 2003.

All competitors have to prove their age by presenting their passport or identification

card at the weigh-in. For those athletes that are not adults must submit along with passport a written consent (please find enclosed at the last pages) at registration

signed by parents or lawful guardians, accepting their participation and all parts of the official invitation. Membership from the MNA will be controlled by the

Organization.

9 PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT & UNIFORM

The participants shall wear the WTF recognized Taekwondo Uniform. Daedo PSS and

sensing Head gears will be used at this Tournament and will be provided by the OC. All athletes must bring their own Daedo sensor socks.

Groin/Forearm/shin guards and Gloves are compulsory and must be brought by the contestants.

Mouth piece is compulsory (only white or transparent).

Changes of weight divisions after the deadline are allowed - Cost: 25€.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: AT LATEST 12nd June, 2015 Entries after deadline

will not be accepted. Please upload the photos of competitors and officials.

Important: If the athlete registered on-line does not take part in the competition for some reason, but he/she has not been removed from the list of participants before the dead line (12nd June, 2015) his/her team officially must fully (100%) pay his/her entry fee for participation.

11 REFEREES

Only International Referees will be accepted. An official invitation for the referees will be sent by the ETU Referee Chairman.

12 ENTRY FEE: € 80.00 (Euro) for each Contestant

The Entry Fees must be paid in EURO’S and please have in mind that it is your

responsibility to arrange any additional payment on currency or bank charges. If

there are any additional charges on the account of the European Taekwondo Union then it should be paid by cash during the registration. All payments must be done by

the team (individual payments are not allowed). Please refer the name of y our nation in the description of payment and send it to [email protected].

13 Entry Fees must be paid before the dead line (12nd June, 2015)

Note Reservation and Registrations are only valid when payment have been received and confirmed by the bank and the organizer. Incomplete application forms or applications without entry fees are invalid and

will be sent back,

Applications and payments shall be sent at the same time. Receipt of entry fees, hotel accommodations and applications shall be sent by e-mail,

Payment must be done per team, DAEDO Electronic Body Protectors and sensing head gears will be provided by

the OC, for all the competitors, Only WTF approved equipment will be allowed to use in this tournament (even

dobok etc.), Groin/forearm/shin guards and gloves are compulsory and must be brought by

the contestants,

Only competitors and coaches have admittance to the field of play, Coaching is only allowed in sportswear,

All coaches must be 18 years or older, First Aid will be provided by the organization and is only to be used in case of an

Emergency.

14 INSURANCE

The organization and supervisor assume no responsibility for teams, any

damages, violence, loses and injures during the stay in FRANCE, All contestants must bring their own documents and forms for any medical

treatment in FRANCE. If not, this will have to be paid cash.

15 CLASSIFICATION OF RESULTS

Medals will be awarded to the top four athletes in the respective classifications and weight divisions of the pertinent championships:

16 HEAD OF TEAM MEETING & DRAWING OF LOTS SESSION

The head of team meeting and the drawing of lots session shall be conducted on

Thursday 02nd July 2015, in the presence of OC and the representatives of the participating National Teams.

17 WEIGH-IN

Weigh-in of the contestants shall be completed one day before their scheduled competition day,

During the weigh-in, male contestants shall wear underpants and female contestants shall wear underpants and brassieres. However, contestants may

weigh-in in the nude if they want to do so.

All Coaches- Trainers must be holders of the ETU License (guaranted by the ETU Coaches Seminars) Coaches- trainers who are participating in the Tournament

without ETU Coach License will have to pay a fine of 200 euros in the registration desk to ETU Official

18 INDEMNITIES

The respective MNA shall be responsible for ensuring that their participants have validly completed and signed the official participation forms, thus indemnifying

the organizers, its officials and other contestants from any claims of injuries, losses, fatalities or otherwise arising in the course of participation in this

tournament or any activities thereto, The respective MNA shall be responsible for ensuring that all officials and

participants are covered with effective insurance coverage,

Participants without proper participation entry forms and effective insurance coverage will not be allowed to compete at the championships,

The Organizing Committee will acquire general insurance, at its own expenses, for all participants of the tournament, including but not limited to contestants

and staffs, in the event of any injury and/or damages that may arise during the course of the championships.

19 ACCOMMODATION & TRANSPORTATION

In order to book a hotel for the European Taekwondo Championships for Cadet 2015,

evening) will be organized between the Sport Hall and the tramway station “Futura Glacière” which is on the line B

the airport from which special free shuttles will be organized to go to the Sport Hall directly.

In order to book an hotel for the European Taekwondo Championships for Cadet 2015, you have to create an account on our website: www.france-sport.com. Then, you will be able to make your reservation online.

The booking will only be confirmed officially after the reception of a down-payment of 40% of the total amount of your stay.

PAYMENT :

The balance, with bank transfer fees at your charge, will have to be paid not later than a week before your arrival. In case of a late booking, after June 10th , the booking will be only confirmed after the payment of the total amount of the stay.

CANCELLATION:
