Firm Overview Sidock Architects is a 130 person full service Architecture and Engineering Firm with 5 Michigan Offices (Novi. Wyandotte, Lansing, Muskegon, and Gaylord) and an office in Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 197 4, we have completed hundreds of Governmental, Municipal, Public Safety and Fire Station projects. Our current workload is strong, however, we have ample capacity to properly provide the level of service that Dexter Township deserves for its very important project.
Consultants While we are a full service A/E Firm, we do not perform survey or geo-technical services. As such, we will employ outside Consultants for these services. Both Consultants, listed in the "Project TeamPersonnel" section, have worked with Sidock many times over the years and both meet the high quality and service standards to which Sidock holds them, and itself.

Project Understanding Dexter Township has recognized the need for a new Fire Substation to serve the northern portion of Dexter Township. Through advanced study the Township has identified a project budget and site for the development of a new substation. By issuance of a Request for Proposal, the Township is now seeking the professional services of an Architect experienced in the programming and design of fire stations.
Detailed Work Plan Sidock Architects, in general, must accomplish the following services:
• Conduct a Kick-Off meeting to review and confirm project goals and schedule, establish communication procedures, gather project background information/documents and set appointments for programming interviews and site inspections.
• Conduct site inspection of the ML WSA site to evaluate and document the existing facility to include field measurements, and prepare an as-built drawing based on the inspection.
• Conduct programming interviews with Township/ Fire Department staff identified in the Kick-Off meeting to determine facility needs and requirements.

Project Experience
Project Experience
Following are a representative project list and a number of representative projects profiles, selected to illustrate our broad design range for all types of Stations. The profiles include project name, location, and description. We provided a full service scope for all projects, and all have been completed within the last ten ( l 0) years, with the majority having been completed within the last five (5) years.
Sidock generally works on a fixed lump sum fee basis or a percentage of construction cost basis. In either case, the "original design fee" and "final design fee" would remain unchanged, unless the Client revised the project scope.
Final construction cost is listed on each profile sheet. Original construction cost information is not available. As our References will attest, Sidock has a long history of minimal change orders, and of bringing projects in on budget.
In recent years, Municipalities have experienced a great deal of layoffs and turnover. As a result, many Client contacts are no longer available. We have provided a number of project references in the "Firm Overview" section.
