Production Process Evaluation

ResearchThe strengths of my research where I knew where I wanted to look for my research I knew how to put it into my own work and develop it I think it has helped my final product by giving me brief ideas and instructions on how to develop my product.The weaknesses of my research where that I would occasionally copy word for word I have tried not to with this product.By doing loads of research I end up not having an idea my self I end up trying to use other peoples ideas, I like to have a completely new and different idea my self for my own product. To improve I could maybe looked in a wider range of places for the research to have got better and more ideas, the effect this would have had on my product is that it would be bigger and better wouldnt it if I had a lot more research but sometimes I dont like doing to much because I end up copying.

PlanningThe strengths of my planning where it really helped me to generate more ideas and I sort of knew what I wanted my final product outcome to be like my planning helped me to adjust to make it better.My planning has defiantly helped my product a lot by having faint ideas of what I wanted the outcome to be like.A weakness of my planning is that when I am in the process of doing it I'm trying not to do what my final outcome would be I'm trying to cut it down and generate little ideas that would help me to get my final outcome.What I could have done to improve my product was to do more planning and make it bigger, the effect this would have had on my product is it would have been better, it would have been more planned in order to be a better outcome.

Time ManagementI managed the time limit exceedingly well for this product.I completed my product before the deadline which I am very pleased about because that gave me more time to go back and check that my research and planning matched my outcome and to make sure of any mistakes in the making of my product if so I would have changed it and made it better with the time I still had left.I used the left over time to review and adapt my work.Doing this was beneficial because it would have improved my grade

Target Audience AppealMy target audience was originally planned for mostly males who are in education e.g. college or work as I know mostly males are more interested in cars than females because I have chosen to interview a friend about his car.In my podcast I am also talking about films with Henry, which I think also appeals more to males than females because we are talking about 21/22jumpstreet.

Technical Qualities

My audio podcastSimilar to mine The Similarities and differences of my product compared to an already existing one is that they both are interviewing someone just about different things mine is interviewing somebody about there life and car where as the one I found is interviewing somebody for tips and advise on how to get a job and what to for when you go for an interview.Another difference is that this doesn't have any background music but mine has music all the way though the podcast.

I had some difficulties with fading my music out to be able to hear the sound effects from the car I tried to use the cut tool then add in an effect that made that little section fade out.

I also had a problem with the sound effect from the Subaru I couldnt make it quieter so its a lot louder than the rest.

Aural QualitiesI think my work sounds ok I think I could defiantly improve it, however it was creative as I was interviewing a friend about his car and things about him I have even used a clip that we recorded of his car.The aspects of my product that I like is defiantly the car part of the recording I like that it appeals to my chosen target audience. If I was to redo it to improve I would keep on 1 topic and add an ending rather than it ending suddenly.The strengths I had when making this were been able to record it but putting it all together was a weakness I had with the difference in tone of voice from doing a few different recordings I've had to try and make it all fit in I have also used to songs which I had to make fit together.

Audience AppealI think I have appealed to my target audience.The specific bits of content that would appeal to my target audience would have to be the part where Im asking henry about his car, then a clip is played to hear what it sounds like, mostly males like cars so I think that part mostly appeals to my target audience, as well as any other content in the audio podcast I think it all appeals o mostly males.
