ACTIVITY:Afterbeingsplitintoteamsof4-5,youwillreceiveapackof26slipsofpaperandapaperclip.Youwillneedmultiplewritingutensils.

1.Eachteamwilllayasideoneslipofpaper,andwriteoneletterofthealphabetoneachoftheremaining25slipsofpaper.Youwillbeattemptingtocreateasmanywordsaspossiblefromthelettersandmaycreateduplicatesofmorecommonletters.

2.Onceyourteamhaswrittenlettersonall25slipsofpaper,bindthemwiththepaperclip.Ontheremainingslipofpaper,asateam,setagoalofhowmanywordsyouthinkyoucancreatewithyourstack.

3.Switchstackswithanotherteam,leavingyourstackfacedown.4.Withthenewstackofcards,comeupwithasmanywordsaspossiblein7minutes,keepinginmindthenewgoal.

5.Eachteamshouldassignascribetorecordeverywordyoucomeupwithonasheetofloose-leafpaper.

6.Finally,teamsshouldtotalthenumberofwordscreatedanddiscussthegameoutcomes.
