Three key developments One of the ways in which I had progressed was photography wise. I had an advantage

of using the studio and this improved the quality of my pictures and prevented them from looking blurry, however in the preliminary task I used a lower standard camera so the image quality was not as good. I learnt that you need to use a high quality camera to get professional looking images. I also learnt how to use a professional camera properly and adjust it to my preference to take good standard images

Another way in which I progressed was through the use of pull quotes etc… In the preliminary task I did not add pull quotes as I wasn’t too sure on what to write. I tried to inspire through the use of my pull quote and this was the foundation of the magazine to inspire. I learnt that the use of the pull quotes is to attract the audience by short and snappy sentence.

Another way in which I progressed was through the development of my Photoshop and InDesign skills. I played around with Photoshop and InDesign a lot to improve my skills. Through improving my Photoshop and InDesign skills I improved the outcome of my magazine by making it look more professional using these technologies. I learnt a lot of tools in these technologies and this was a factor in which helped my magazine develop into a satisfactory magazine.

I improved the use of my three colour schemes. I learnt how to use colours that go well together such as red, black and white. The improvement of the three colour scheme helped improved the overall look of my magazine which will attract the audience. I improved my masthead by using a different technology to make it look professional. I learnt how to make my masthead look bolder. I learnt how to make the image bigger to fill up the whole page so that the model is the centre of attention and through this, I learnt how to put the masthead at the behind the model by using the rubber tool.

I improved my contents page by adding more text in and this attracts the audience as they are paying to read information. Another way in which I improved it was by having a double page spread contents page, this allowed me to include more information and also more images. The images in my full product are of better quality as they were taken with a better quality camera. I wanted there to be branding so that it is memorable and this is what I included in my full product.
