Pete- Last but not least Dalton how about you?
Dalton- Well my name is Dalton I'm the drummer
form “Staring Blind” I'm 18 years old and I'm from
Palm Bay, Florida. I have been playing drums for
about 8 years and just graduated form Bayside High
School, where I played in the marching band on the
states best drum line, in which the core style and some
jazz style has influenced my playing. I listen to all
genres of music, and have been playing live shows for
the past 6 years of my life form small bars, to opening
up for national acts. I feel that drumming is one of the
most passionate things in my life and has made me the
person I am today which sets himself apart not only
with my age but with my style...
Pete- So what are some of your guy’s influences and
reasons for getting in to the music industry?
Band- Brandon, well my musical influences are very
diverse, I actually enjoy all genre’s of music, anything
form rap to rock and classical to blues. Willie, well I
got in to the whole music business because I saw the
guys form the bands had all the girls and fun and
thought that was what I wanted so I basically did it for
the women and good times LOL. Matt, as gar as influences go it would be difficult to attribute any one artist, style or genre with my
lyrical or vocal technique. Dalton, the bands that I listen to such as Johnny Cash, Tool, August Burns Red, Sublime, Avenged Sevenfold, and A
Day To Remember all these and may more have been influences in my style of music…
Pete- So guys what makes this band different form the others that you have been in?
Band- Well we would have to say the comradely that we have with each other the way that we all click and the way that when we play a song
how it just sounds so right on the first time as well as every time we like we said we have all be around each other in the past in one form or an-
other but when we came together it was just one of those things that you know is just right when you feel it…
Pete- So where are some of the up and coming venues that your band is going to be playing at?
Band- We have a couple shows in October first one is on the 8th at Bunky’s Monkey Bar located on north A1A the second is on the 9th at Milik-
ens Reef and another on the 14th at the Thirsty Lizard we are looking forward to seeing you guys at the events as well as any future ones…
Pete- Well think you guys for you time its been great getting to know you and we want all our readers to know that we will be doing follow ups
with these guys so look for them in other Florida Rockstar Magazine issues…

my first band M-Pulse. While singing for M-Pulse along with current Star-
ing Blind member Willie where we played over 500 shows through out
Florida as well as Las Vegas and the Bahamas, in 2003 I received Front
man of the year and was featured on Mel Taylor’s Favorite Band segment
