Installation dimensions

Figure 2: Allow the appliance to open to a minimum of 90° to prevent problems when removing drawers.

Allow for a minimum 50 mm sealing strip, for corner installation, so that the door can open to 90°. When using embossed or raised panels, consider using a wider sealing strip.

IMPORTANTRefer to the full-scale illustrations at the end of this section for details on door openings and sealing strip dimensions.

Door stop adjustment

Figure 4

Figure 3, Figure 4: Select between two opening angles: 130° and 90°. Your appliance was delivered with a door opening of 130°. If an opening angle of 90° is required, use this procedure:

1. Close the refrigerator door.

2. Insert screw (1), provided, into bore (2).

Use the same procedure to adjust the freezer door.Figure 3

Fitting the top ventilation grill

Figure 5

IMPORTANTThe standard ventilation grill provides a ventilation cross-section of 200 cm². If you are replacing the grill with an overlay, the ventilation cross-section must be the same or greater than that achieved with the stand-ard ventilation grill.

Figure 5: Position the ventilation grill at the top of the installation frame and attach it later with countersunk screws (4 pieces, provided). Make sure the grill fits flush laterally with the installation frame.

1. Mark the centre of the appliance on the wall.

2. Also mark the installation height of the anti-tipping brackets on the wall (min. 86 mm, max. 102 mm).

3. Screw the anti-tipping brackets in the wall using proper fastening elements but within the 240 mm right or left from the centre line of the appli-ance.

4. Push the appliance against the wall.

5. Using the adjustable feet at the front and rear, raise the appliance until the compres-sor support panel makes con-tact with the brackets. Make sure the front feet are firmly on the floor to prevent the appli-ance from tipping forward.

See "Adjusting the appli-ance height", fig. 7.

IMPORTANTThe door handles must be installed on the decor panels before the screw cover panels are fitted.

The total decor panel weight must not exceed 11 kg.

Overlay decor panelsFigure 8: The overlay design line allows decor pan-els to cover the door frame for a more seamless appearance that blends with the design of the room. Normally this type of decor panel consists of three individual panels: the overlay decor panel, a spacer panel (2.5 mm) and a backer panel (6 mm).
