About Pinnacle The Institute organizes the various sports and cultural events under ‘Pinnacle’
every year. Pinnacle is a youth festival which quenches the thirst of sportsmen
and artists and motivates them to perform better in all aspects of life. The
Institute organized the ‘Pinnacle-2014’, A Mutli – Event Meet constituting 18
sports and 35 cultural events (on-stage and off-stage). More than 200 students
participated in various events under the Pinnacle 2014.

Name of Event Sodal Fair : NSS Students Volunteered Duties
Date of Event September 27, 2015
Location Baba Sodal Mandir, Jalandhar
About event The famous fair of Baba Sodal is celebrated once in a year in Mid-
September at Jalandhar. The people engage themselves in celebrations
on the 14th of Shukal Paksh (bright half of the lunar month), the day on
which the Baba Sodal is believed to have received his communion with
God. AIMTC students of NSS Department worked for the social cause
as volunteers in the Sodal Fair, Jalandhar.

About event As the entire nation is gearing up to celebrate the birth anniversary of
Swami Vivekananda, Rashtra Aaradhan Programme was organised by
AIMTC on January 11,2017. Mr. Sunil Jyoti, Mayor, Municipal
Corporation, Jalandhar was the Guest of Honour on the occasion. The
event was named as National Youth Day and was organised in
collaboration with Divya Jyoti Jagriti Samiti. The other dignitaries
included Sadhvi Sushri Garima Bharti Ji, Sadhvi Radhika Bharti Ji and
Prof. Lakhbir Singh.

IV.(A) Report of Year 2017-18 : “Apeejay Pinnacle 2017”
Name of Event Apeejay Pinnacle 2017

About Pinnacle A bookworm who takes no interest in sport or any cultural activity is
physically weak and all his mental excellence can’t make up for his physical
deficiency. It is for this reason every year AIMTC organizes ‘Apeejay
Pinnacle’ , a multi-event meet for sports and culture for the students to reboot
themselves from the hectic academic schedule. The Institute organized the
‘Apeejay Pinnacle-2017’, a mutli-event meet constituting 18 sports and 35
cultural events (on-stage and off-stage). More than 300 students participated
in various on-stage and off-stage events in Apeejay Pinnacle 2017. Mr.
Akshay Singh of BCA was declared as Mr. Pinnacle 2017 whereas Ms.
Karambir Kaur of BCA was adjudged as Miss Pinnacle 2017. Some special
prizes were given to the Students for their performances in their respective
skill. Mr Abhilaksh Murria was declared as Best Singer, Mr. Rishabh Sehgal
of MBA as Best Actor, Ms. Daljeet Kaur as Best Actress. Ms. Jaspreet Mehmi
and Ms Palak Arora as Best Artist and Ms. Palak Arora and Ms. Karambir
Kaur as Best Dancer. Ms Ishpreet Kaur was adjudged as best compere. Mr.
Akshay Singh was declared as Best Sportsperson for the year 2017.

About event A Declamation Contest was held in the campus in association with
NGO Alfa Mahendru Foundation on the topic of "Save the Girl child".
Mr. Arpit Shukla, Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar was the chief
guest for the day. Students of AIMTC were brilliant in expressing their
views on the topic. Rashmi Talwar of BCA was declared as winner
while Karanveer of MCA was second and Mahima Gupta of MBA was
third in the competition.

Name of Event Plant a Green, Plant a Life
Date of Event September 2, 2018
Location Government Elementary School, Kaki Village, Jalandhar
About event NSS Department of AIMTC organized an activity named "Plant a
Green, Plant a Life" at Government Elementary School, Kaki Village,
Jalandhar in which trees were planted and distributed at the venue.
The school children at the venue were also briefed about the importance
of Planting and saving trees. Operational Heads for this event were
Swati and Karan.

About event In a way of helping out in the weddings of underprivileged families,
AIMTC students of NSS Department donated various household and
utility things to the couples. Students of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Group
formed under NSS attended the mass marriages arranged for the
underprivileged families.

About event Under Sansad Aadarsh Gram Yojna, A Flagship program of Ministry of
Human Resource Development, Govt. of India and AICTE, Sarpanches
and Panches from 30 nearby villages assembled at the campus to discuss
various social problems. Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director, addressed the
gathering and extended a helping hand to all with announcement of
many schemes. Saansad Aadarsh Gram Yojana is a rural development
programme broadly focusing upon the development in the villages
which includes social development, cultural development and spread
motivation among the people on social mobilization of the village
community.
