Thc Pennsylvaniia ship of the. line has bWen launched ; the anioun remnialinitg under thle appropriation for gradual increase, together wifil t.:$1.00,000 appropriated for placing her in a place of safety, arehein, rexpcnl-ed to prepare her for removal to Norfolk.

Tlie frigaaes B3randywine, Iotoinac, and Columbia, have beenlla rltuchedaid completed for service. Four ships of the line and six frigates remnaillonl Uijc stocks; they are generally sound, and in a (good state of preserva-tion, with thle excej)tion of sorne of their keels, kIelsons, anld deadwvoods,which will require to be replaced before they are launched. Tilhey are gcene-rally so fiar advanr 2cl that they could p)ro')ably be completed by the timethat crewXs could be collected for them.

It may be proper to remark, that the remiainder of this finrd will be cx-pezided upoII tile Penisylvania ship of the linie, but that it wvill be iistulfi-cieiut to complete thie equipment of that shil). Consequently, additionalfluids will be necessary, should it be determined to complete anly of theother vessels.

Complete live oak frames have been collected for four ships of thle linie,seven frigates. and five sloops of wvar.

Contracts have been made for other live oak frames, wvhlich have Dot yetbeen delivered.-as fblloosFor eleven ships .f the line, eleven frigates, seventeen sloops of wvar,

imc smaller vessels, and nine steormers ; mnhaking, in thie whole, frames forfifteen ships of the ikie, eighteen frigates, twenty-two sloops ofl war, nliliCsmaller vessels, and nine steamers.Of thle incomplete contracts, some are nearly completed; tinder others a

small proportion only has been delivered, and others have beeni made veryrecently. By the terms of the contracts, the whole are to lie completed oinor before the last of March, 1811.
