2020 SAFE AMIGOS AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM SPONSORSHIP

Lower income families tend to work in “essential” jobs, requiring many parents to return to work amid COVID19 and needing safe care for their kids when they leave school. This makes after school programs a critical piece of re-opening the economy. Many families cannot afford quality after school programs and may opt to leave children home alone without adult supervision or in the care of an older sibling. The most common form of child abuse in the United States is being left at home alone without adult supervision, also called supervision neglect.

You can help make sure the kids in our community get Back to School Right by making a contribution to fund after school care for a month. Your contribution can help make a difference in the life and future of a struggling child.
