The 21st Park Rd Parade will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 10:30 AM. The parade goes down Park Rd. from South High-land St. to South Quaker Lane. The parade consists of about 700 participants from schools, bands, clubs, organizations, sports leagues, girls’ and boys’ scout troops, politicians, civic leaders, and other neighborhood groups. There are bands, dance groups, ethnic costumes, old cars, floats, town fire trucks, and more. Several awards are given from the Best Floats, to the Best Costumes, and other Best categories! This parade has taken place every year since 1998. During that year there was a revitalization of the Park Rd. neighborhood for businesses and neighbors. This is a celebration of that success.
