Hey AIESEC!
It has been 4 months since the Congress
Committee team commenced the
planning of this finely esteemed 7th East
African Pioneers Congress happening
from 30th October to 3rd November and
we are more than proud that Kenya is
hosting it. We are working tirelessly to
ensure it will be one of a kind, one to
remember and one that will set
standards for the next Pioneers
Congresses to come.
Pioneers Congress in the past has been
known to engage only the leaders of the
AIESEC entities in the East African Region
namely; Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania,
Ethiopia and Rwanda. It has therefore
been a leadership development
conference for the named leaders to set
targets, strategize, and keep track of
entity development in their specific
regions, this year, we have re-strategized
it.
There will multiple chances to meet and
mingle with AIESEC alumni, corporates,
top government officials and fellow
delegates from all over East Africa.
If you’re not looking forward to this like I
am, I assure you, you will miss out on so
much but if you are looking forward to
this start saving up and packing your
bags and see you on October 30th 2013
Huuuurrraaaayyyy! SAY AIESEC
Regards,
Brenda Njeri

AIESEC is a french acronym that means “Association Internationale des Etudiants en Sciences
Economiques et Commerciales”. AIESEC has experience in developing high-potential youth into globally
minded responsible leaders. What makes AIESEC unique is the youth driven impactful experiences that
it offers it’s members.
The 7th East African Pioneers Congress brings you 5 days and 4 nights of discovery, impact, and
inspiration. It shall take 7months of preparation and 45 young, driven individuals whose role is to
ensure a successful and empowering conference.
This year, the conference has re-strategized and opened a new door to new members who may wish to
attend the conference, as well maintaining its approach on inviting leaders. This is to ensure that most
if not all AIESEC members get a good and memorable first experience and engagement with AIESEC.
This conference will also be a platform for new members to get inspired by older members and get
empowered to proceed with their AIESEC experience.
The agenda is replenished with amazing plenary lead sessions, learning circles, Youth to Business forum
(Y2B), and to top up, social agenda like Global Village-where every delegate is free to showcase their
culture, in addition we have roll calls, theme nights and night parties.
