The Solution

IT-Link Watch Area is a highly advanced modern face recognition system built with latest Artificial

Intelligence (AI) and Machine learning technologies. The architecture and design philosophy is

based on distributed micro services with high scalability and redundancy that can monitor/authorize

unlimited subjects with high performance delivered for real time monitoring through distributed

compute systems.

Rapid advancement in the field of AI is enabling products to be more intelligent and precise than humans. Voice assistants,

chat bots, face recognition and data analytics.

Every device around us is becoming intelligent by time. Smart phones are becoming smarter, intelligent TVs, advanced

electric cars, virtual reality and intelligent CAMERAS. The brain behind the camera is no more just image processing, it can

detect and process objects in the image. It goes even further to classify the objects (like car model, number plate

detection), state of the object (emotion in face), properties of the object (object dimensions, get the color) and count the

objects.

Biometric person identification is nothing new. Fingerprints are used for years in person identification. But a person cannot

be detected on the fly. A smart card is definitely helpful, but it can be taken by another person. This is where face recognition

types and security to detect dangerous harmful objects/weapons.

Recognize faces of employees, guests, visitors and contractors. Applied analytics on the detected faces can be used for

visitor tracking, employee attendance, gauging the emotions of the guests and even interact with them accordingly. The

system can be deployed in a mobility device to detect faces inside transports like bus/trains/planes.

speed/traffic light violations are automatically caught by cameras, no police is required. Similarly, IT-Link Watch Area can

monitor the whole premises to continuously detect un-authorized persons.

Register the visitors/guests with proper permissions at first entry or online in advance. The system collects the feed from all

the cameras and matches with the database subjects and permissions to enable the security team to allow/prevent the

person. IT-Link Watch Area can automate the whole cycle by controlling the automatic gates and display welcome

messages/voice guides.

Alert the security team about the un-authorized/blacklisted person in an area. Further, only specific people are allowed in

more sensitive areas within the organization like top level management areas and locker rooms. Any breach of the

permissions is immediately alerted and the system shows the logs/pictures of the person. Further, government blacklisted

people like terrorists/visa violators can be registered in the system to be identified inside the premises.

Employee attendance - The current systems of employee attendance require the employee to swipe a card/finger to check

in and check out. If the employee takes time off the middle of the day, it is not accounted for. IT Link watch area can provide

full featured reports on employee attendance and total spent by the employee inside the premises to control the productivity.

The reporting can also be used to search for a person, if he had visited in the past and the timings.

Emotion Detection - Detect faces can be processes to assess the emotion of the subject. 7 emotions namely happy, sad,

surprise, angry, neutral, fear and disgust can be detected and processes. Get reports on whether a particular customer was

overall happy or find out if a child in school unusually sad/inattentive.

Crowd control and people movement assessment - Public and private places where people gather for

events/travel/shopping/resorts can be controlled by getting continuous updates on the situation based on the person

recognition. The system can count the number of people in each watch area and enables the proper crowd management.

Professional Customer Service – Detect the customer arriving at the location and start preparing the service needed by

him in advance like vehicle/package delivery, so that he spends less time looking for the delivery. Parents visiting the

school can be detected to appropriately call the children associated with them.

Theft/Fraud Protection – Material movement in/out of the organization can be monitored by integrating a gate-pass with

the system. Hyper/super markets can detect theft automatically and nab the person involved thereby avoiding losses.

Public places like malls/airports/parks can deploy the system

Authentication – Employees on the move use using official mobile apps/devices can be authenticated with the company

central face database to prevent misuse.
