The Phoenix is pleased to work in partnership with
Welcome...Dear PatronsIt is with pleasure, as always, that I welcome you to our new season here at the Phoenix, and with extra pleasure that I extend our very best wishes for 2016!
Last year saw unprecedented change at the theatre in terms of programme and activities in general; 2016 will continue that development in particular in improvement to the premises. Waiting at the door is a fleet of contractors ready to convert the old rehearsal room into a fully equipped multi purpose studio for use as theatre, exhibition centre, conference suite etc etc, and what a development that will be, giving our organisation the ability and flexibility to diversify.
It should create lots of new opportunities for all, especially our growing volunteer force, many of whom are ‘champing at the bit’ to get back ‘into harness’. All I can say just now is WATCH THIS SPACE for details of things to come.
I do hope you have enjoyed the festive season and that you will be looking forward to joining us here again very soon. I commend our new programme to you and, as always, if there’s something we’ve missed, do let us know. Happy new year!
