6FASHION1980's fashion had heavy emphasis on expensive clothes and fashion accessories. Apparel tended to be very bright and vivid in appearance. Women expressed an image of wealth and success through shiny costume jewelry, such as large faux-gold earrings, pearl necklaces, and clothing covered with sequins and diamonds. Punk fashion began as a reaction against both the hippie movement of the past decades and the materialist values of the current decade.

The Hair in the 1980s was typically big, curly, bouffant and heavily styled. Women from the 1980s wore bright, heavy makeup. Everyday fashion in the '80s consisted of light-colored lips, dark and thick eyelashes, and pink or light blue.

7ARCHITECTURE STYLEDeconstruction is an architectural movement that began in the 80s Its bases are abandoning the straight line and the plane and start working deformations , stretching, smooth surfaces, breaks , bends , hyperbole , parables, deny and coating structure.

Deconstructivist architecture is manifested not only in the aesthetics of the exterior, but it alters , distorts and incorporated into the internal structure. The basic features of this movement consist of the use of apparently complex geometries , which result but , usually , the deformation or displacement of base areas that make up the geometry.8Garden Grove ChurchArchitect: Johnson/BurgeeLocation: Garden Grove, Los Angeles, California Date:1978 to 1980 timelineConstruction System: glazed space frame walls and roofClimatemild desertStyle:ModernNotes:The "Crystal Cathedral".
