The AT&T Pioneers will paint a 20-foot by 30-foot mural of the United States on the Hollandale Elementary playground as part of a volunteer community service project on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The project will allow teachers to use the playground to teach geography through creative play. The new playground will be ready for students as they head back to school this fall. “We are very excited to add this interactive and colorful mural to our playground and thankful to the AT&T Pioneers for their work on this project,” said Superintendent Jill Underly. “We can’t wait for our students to play on our new playground map this fall.” The AT&T Pioneers are providing paints and supplies for the map project.
