Locker Breaks:

6D will get snack and books/supplies for

3rd and 4th periods at the end of math class

every day

6P will get lunch and books/supplies for 4th, 5th, and 6th periods at the end of math class every day

7L has no locker break after math

7G will get books/supplies for all afternoon classes right after lunch, before coming to math

Procedure for Entering Class

• Do not come in before the bell!

• Wait until the previous class has exited

• Quietly find your seat

• Store your unnecessary books in your desk or on side counter and take out your materials to be ready for warm-up

Procedure for Leaving Class

• When the teacher says so (NOT the bell), pack

up your books and materials.

• Line up in front of the large bulletin board. Do NOT stand in the doorway.

• Leave only after I dismiss you, not when you hear the bell. (Sometimes we have to wait for hall traffic.)

• Remain silent in the hallway and walk on the right.

• 7L--we will do the Angelus prayer after the bell, before we leave for lunch. You will stand up at your desk after packing up and pushing in your chair.

RestroomProcedure

• Raise your hand and ask the teacher for permission

• Do not ask in the middle of instruction

• Once permission is given, sign out--write your first and last name and time clearly

• Quietly exit the classroom

• Upon returning, quietly enter the classroom-do NOT announce that you are back

• Sign in with time

• Quietly return to your seat

**Don't make a habit of asking to go every single day during my class**

Remain quiet when listening to directions or learning new material!Normally this isn't a problem, but if you can't

hear me giving directions or explaining a concept,

it will be harder on all of us later. So don't do it!

Interactive Notebooks (INBs):

You will need one composition notebook to begin the year (You will need another later in the year.). All of your notes and worksheets will either be glued or stapled into this INB.

You will need a folder or binder for any packets/projects/study guides/tests.

You need a pencil and pen EVERY DAY. Pencil will be for ALL math work. Pen is only used for checking homework.
