Design - The Silverbreeze Tender 8.50 by Dutch Workboats is designed for high speed operations. The hull shape and water jet provide for a fast, comfortable and safe ride for both crew and cargo. The wide and open stern design gives very good access. The steering con- sole houses the engine. In front of it is a large open working deck, fit for all your civil or military operations. Also available as a half cabin version and as 7.50 and 9.50 meter versions. For alternative propulsion we pro- vide stern drive or surface drive. Commercial deployment – This boat was designed for a single concept: get the boat there quickly and make crew and cargo go fast! Quick response salvage work, fast patrolling and high-speed interceptions are its core competences. It has an aluminum hull with PU foam fenders, which is easily transported on a standard road trailer, thus pro- viding a great commercial and operational scope. The hull design with wave piercing bow makes this boat go fast in rough waters. Its very high planing speeds make efficient coverage of large areas possible and allow the boat to quickly reach the target area. Propulsion – Available with several engine types, from lighter gasoline types to high-speed heavy duty diesels. Standard is a Marine Diesel V8 6.6 l VGT common rail diesel with an Alamarin water jet. This propulsion pack- age is the best power to weight ratio in the market and gives you very high performance and excellent maneuverability under all conditions. We can also install stern drive or surface drives if needed.

Lay-out - The Silverbreeze Tender 8.50 features a high length-to-beam ratio with single spray rails. This setup allows for great accelerations and high speeds, but also gives very good behavior in waves and rough seas. The console is placed aft, giving good protection, ample holding positions and very comfortable Ullman jockey seats. The working deck also has many holding handles and a high railing. The deck is a large opera- tional area, suitable for placing pallets, generator sets, hoses, crew benches or whichever civil or military tools needed. The wide open transom features a foldable part. Laying down it gives very good access to the boat at the docks or from the water level and it can be folded up in heavier seas for more safety. The optional half cabin brings even more protection and safety to the crew.
