Remember to mark your calendars for the NEHEMIAH ASSEMBLY on

April 11th at 7pm at ABYSSINIA BAPTIST CHURCH, 10325 Interstate Center Dr, 32218. Keep in mind we will be renting buses for those who want that option. Please say YES when invited to this assembly and show that we at MHR care about JUSTICE. We need numbers at this assembly to show our elected officials that we will not back down until we have more jobs in Northwest Jacksonville, our children are given a second chance without a criminal record for first time non violent crimes, that the homeless day center will reopen, that the wait for Mental health appointments will be greatly decreased! Because of the unending work of a lot of people, all these things ARE HAPPENING! In addition our research committee is work-ing on a new issue related to crime. It may seem like we have been working on these issues for a long time but these are BIG PROBLEMS that require much work and much time to accomplish! Everyone who comes to this Assembly has a part in making these things happen!! Questions? Call Pat at 334-3534.

ICARE UPDATE;

“But God, who is rich in mer-cy, because of the great love he had for us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, brought us to life with Christ (by grace you have been saved), raised us up with him, and seated us with him in the heavens in Christ Je-sus, that in the ages to come he might show the immeas-urable riches of his grace in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.”

If you carry the Eucharist to the

sick or homebound, please be sure to clean out the pyx over the sink, with the drain that goes to the ground, locat-ed in the sacristy. There should be NO “crumbs” left in the pyx. Thank you.
