Phil & Iris MorlockPhil and Iris moved to Naples, Florida in 1991. They began their involvement with Friends of TECH and their son, Kevin, entered the workshop and has been in STARability ever since. Kevin loves spending time with his friends at bowling and baseball (Go Red Sox!!). Kevin also enjoys the dances and other events given by STARability. Phil and

Iris are both retired from CCPS, where Phil was a school bus driver and Iris was a teacher’s aide for many years. Kevin’s sister Karen is a Special Education teacher and Kevin has always been her example of the special needs students. They have a great love and affection for each other. Phil and Iris have been lane captains for the bowling league for many years and are so happy with the tremendous growth STARability has had in our community. This has helped Kevin and all the other members flourish and feel very, very special.

STARability Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, State of Florida #CH-172.

Nicole CorattiNicole moved to Naples when she was 6 years old from Huntington, Indiana. She loves the weather here especially that the sun is always shining, which allows her to take walks around her neighborhood every day. Nicole went to UCF and received her Bachelor’s degree in social work. She comes from a family of five and her younger sister is studying hospitality at UCF, which is the same college that Nicole went to! She loves travelling to Northern Florida and hopes to be able to visit her family in Indiana more. Nicole has been a member of STARability since 2010 and enjoys participating in the baseball league and attending the social events. STARability has helped Nicole maintain an active lifestyle within the community. Nicole likes participating in the “I’m a Star” program with the Naples Performing Arts Center and is looking forward to their upcoming show. Nicole works in case management at Youth Haven and writes our monthly Star Member Spotlights. Her favorite meal is hot dogs and hamburgers with an ice cold water. Nicole’s favorite color is purple and her favorite song is “That’s the Way it is” by Celine Dion. She loves the TV show “Full House”, including the new Netflix series. Nicole hopes to continue learning about community opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
