Adult Faith Formation
Fully joining our Roman Catholic Church
Are you….. …..an adult who has never been baptized? …..an adult from another Christian church who is in-
terested in joining the Roman Catholic Church? …..an adult who was Baptized Catholic but wishes to
now receive the sacraments of Confirmation and Ho-ly Eucharist?
Our Collaborative has a team of committed teachers who are eager to help prepare you for the sacraments within the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, R.C.I.A. Classes will meet each week from September 15th until the end of the Easter Season and will be held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at St. Mary Magdalen Church Hall. Please call the Collaborative Office at 978-957-0322 or email [email protected]. A team member will contact you to provide further information!
Music Ministry Highlights
Our Music Ministry is always looking for those who have an interest in using existing or working on new talents to lift our Services and Masses in music and voices. Be on the lookout for some of our young people who are offering their tal-ents and time to the Collaborative’s Music Ministry – Leanna and Paulina are high school students whom you will see and hear as Cantors at our weekend Masses. Christina is a recent UMass Lowell graduate who has been involved in our Music Ministry as her time allowed during her college years and is now serving as Cantor at weekend Masses and for funerals in the Collaborative. If you happen to stop by the River some Tuesday night, you will have the pleasure of hearing Lily on the recorder. She is building her skills in anticipation of the time in the future when we can add more instruments to the Music Ministry at Mass. Summer is a great time to invest time and energy in working on a skill, so if you have an interest in exploring how you can be involved in the Music Ministry, like these young people, please email [email protected] for more information.
Let us make a joyful noise unto the Lord!
Come join us “down by the river” for Praise and Worship music and singing. We’ll meet on Tuesday evenings at 7PM, weather permitting, across from Heritage Ice Cream.
Bring a chair or a blanket and double check our Facebook pages for updates on Tuesday afternoon. See you there!
Perpetual Adoration
has returned!
7:00AM to 7:00PM in the upstairs chapel 7:00PM-7:00AM

Prayerfully consider signing up for an hour of Adoration at

Congratulations to the Mackland-Rivera Family, who welcomed their daughter Amelia into the Church through the waters of baptism at St. Rita’s Church last Sunday.
This little darling was VERY attentive to Father Clancy’s preaching, and was clearly sur-rounded by lots of love on her spe-cial day. May God bless you abundantly Amelia, all the days of your life! If you would like to schedule a baptism, please contact the Parish Offices at 978-957-0322.
16th Sunday in Ordinary Time
Summer time is like New Year’s Day. We make resolutions about things we will do, places we will go, books we will read and chores we will finally get done. And almost as quickly as we make them, summer has flown by and we’ve accomplished few of our lofty goals. One goal that can still be met is the one about spiritual renewal. This is the perfect time to do something as a family to understand more fully and practice more deeply the values, goals and habits of faith.
Without some attention and work, faith can languish. A special project, a class, weekday Mass or family pray-ers can do a lot to revive and renew your faith. Like the small seed planted in the spring that now is full grown and bearing fruit, faith requires nourishment and care. We can always call upon the gifts of the Holy Spirit to help us in times of growth and change. Paul tells the Romans that the Spirit helps us in our weakness, even praying for us when we do not know how to pray. God’s love is so pervasive that nothing stands between Him and us. Nour-ish your faith now so that in your time of need, you will receive the fruits of the Holy Spirit.

If you have returned to Mass, then you have been greeted and seated by our Collaborative’s WON-DERFUL volunteers. It takes just a little bit of extra time in your Saturday or Sunday to become a part of this team. Please consider volunteering a gift of your time! We can help to match you with the right role, and give you the training and help necessary. It is only with volunteers’ assistance that we are able to offer our full Mass schedule. Right now we are in greatest need of volun-teers for the 5pm Mass on Sundays at St. Rita’s
