C&S wins prestigious MAFI proiect C&S Electric has wan a prestigious order from government o f lndoo for modernization of
the IAF o .rbosos . Modernization of Airfield Infrastructure {MAFI). MAFI will
enable nexlagencrotion oircrofts to operate from these modernized oirboses. In the first
phase, 30 IAF oirboses will be modernised under MAFI and all of them will be powered
by C&S.We are executing the power generation part on thiS preshgoous pro,ect. The
scope includes supply, instollat.on. testing, commission•ng & synchronization of 750
10/A DG sets of C&S Himoinso make, supply of lT distnbutoon boards & AMF panel and
underground doesel storage tonk of capacity 1 5000 It,.. for the generator set. The work
for the polot project at Bhatinda oirbase in the slate of Punjab has already been
successfully completed.
Etacom Belgium contributing to Green ShiP Etacom has won a prestigious project from ABB for supplying Betoobor range of
Busbors a l Kleven . The scope of o rders includes the inslollohon o f LV Betobor-r elements
on a shipyard in Kleven, Norway. This project is unique as of will be tho first lime that DC
woll be installed on a shop, instead of AC, thus creahng less emossoon.
C&S Bustrunking powering hvdro power plant -Teesta Urla. Sikkim C&S Buslrunking division hos received a n order for hydro power plant from Tees Ia Urja
Limited in Sikkim. This 1200 MW project is a run of the river scheme In the North Sikkim
district and utilizes tho available gross head ol800 meters.
BBT division a lso received its lirsl ever orderfrom DRDO lor lighting trunking. The supply
shall be used by DRDO in a funnel project in Ladakh. This protect Is very strategic in nature as it shall facilitate connectivity of Ladakh with the notion throughout the year,

C&S fought to crown CSPl tournament. CSPl2012 season-Ill -the engaging 90-day
crickettng saga sow 8 teams play1ng matches at Na.da and Greater Naida stadiums.
The season-Ill CSPl chompoonship wo• a<ganized from 7th October 2012 Ia 6th
January 2013. This event w1tnessed o ser"'s olthundenng performance from all the
participating teams.

Cheetahs were placed in group A. Wh.te, last year runner up-88 leopards along wilh
Panel Panthers, Corporate Cougars and JV Jaguars were placed in group B.
CSPl 20 12 tournament started on 7th October w1th o ribbon cuHing ceremony. The first
league match of the tournament was played belween Corporate Cougars and JV Jaguars. Corporate Cougars won the toss ond elected lo field. JV Jaguars took the
advantage of sporting pitch and set a daunting run target of 143. Team Corporate
Cougars could not match the opponents and therefore lost the match by a wide margin
of over 29 runs.
The second match of the doy wos played between Win Tigers end TC Lions. The last
season champions Win Tigers defeated TC lions very comfortably. TC lions won the loss
and chase to field first. Botting first Win Tigers scored 152 runs. In reply, TC bans were
bowled out for 120 runs ond lost the match by 32 runs.
The league matches of CSPl were f1lled w1th eKCIIement and many nail -biting moments.
With lhe tournament progressing, the •toke• were high, and the campehtion tough. All
the sides were ronng to outdo each other and ploy the beHer game. Aller the league
matches, two teams from each group were quolofied to the sem1f1nal.

Win Tigers, defeated compehlion to emerge as the sem•fmoiiStlrom group A While in
group 8, superlatiVe performance and commendable team efforts helped 88 leopards

The ~rsl encounter of the knockout stage (semilmol matches) of the season-Ill of CSPl
was played belween W1n Tigers and Panel Panthers. Panel Panthers outperformed Win
Tigers in the first thrilling semif.nol. Win Ttgers won the toss and invited Panel Panthers to
bal. Aller o shaky start Panel Panthers were able to manage a score ol132 runs with the
lass of live wickets. In reply W1n T1gers could manage only 93 runs and got all out in the
18th over.
The second sem1linal was played between 88 leopards and TC Lions. BB leopards puts
up a strong show to rout TC lions. TC Uons won the toss and decided to bat first. TC
Lions scored I 12 runs in 20 overs after loosing 8 WICkets. 88 leopards chased down the
targel in the 19th over and entered third time in CSPl final.
The tournament finals between group 8 semifmalists: Panel Panther and BB leopards. It
was a cold day, but there was no letdown in the passion to compete, as the teams played
their heart out on tho final day of CSPl 2012. BB leopards after winning the Toss opted
to bal first ond scored I 06 runs in bowlerfriendly cond•lions. Chasing a low score, Panel
Panthers were bowled out for 77 runs. Teom B8 leopards defeated team Panel Panthers
in a praiseworthy motch, dotted with Impressive bolting and equally threatening bowling
volleys from the victors. This was the third lime in o row that 88 leopards entered in fino I
ond of last itwos the" cons1slent effort• which helped them in winning CSPl Trophy.

C&S Electric has inaugurated its now research and develapmentlob at
Noido in its TC contoctors, overload relay & motor starter plant. The
new fociloty boosts 2400 square feel o f operations space. The new R&D
lab has been accredited by Ul. The fociloty will serve as the R&D lab far
more than 30 engineers, who ore constantly working on innovative
technologies.
C&S has a culture of product innovotoon and product performance,
which is on obsession •nherited from the two founders of the company,
both of whom ore liT engoneers. C&S products ore known for their

meet the growing demand from retailers & stockists. It celebrated grand

warehouse will serve the southem region and provode next-day delivery of
C&S products to customers in the Bongolore & surround1ngs.
The I 700 square feet fociloty is locoled in the Sampangiram Nogar
Bangolore, dose to our regional office. This new facility will also enable us to
serve our customers better, particularly the retail sector. This will help us in
improving efficiency ond drive down supply chain costs. The new facility is our
fourth warehouse oftor notional warehouse at Naida and regional
warehouses at Ahmedabad ond Bhuboncswor.

in the year 2002, has spread its wings across various segments:
Govt. sector, defence, infrastructure sector, thermal power plants,
hydro electric power plants, stool, oil & gas, mtnes ond o ther
industries.
C&S EPC division, is commi«ed towards the safety, health & beHer
environment for all its stakeholders and at a IItts project Sites. The
main moHo of EPC Dovisoon is to ensure •well beong of all of
everyone•. To ochoeve this target, EPC diviSion on the year 201 1
embarked upon an ambitious •nitiot•ve to implement safety, heolth
and environment standards in •ts office and at all lis pro,ect s•les to
gel its safety, health and envoronment (SHE) operahons certif,ed to
an intemahonolly accepted standard. An ochon plan was lood
down for such purpose, safety polocy of the doV1s•on was
formulated, announced and corculated to al ots employees, soles
and offiCes . A SHE manual was prepared and safety working
procedures were written down and w•dely c•rculoted to all sites.
For Iorge pro;ect soles dedocated safety off,cers were deployed
whereas in all other locot.ons, eng.neers were trained on SHE
matters . All the employees were given SHE awareness training.
In lema! audits by trained auditors were conducted foro II the soles .
Finally TUV, o German quality and safety oudot organozohon was
employed to do tho final assessment and certtfication . TUV
conducted stage-! and stage-11 audit of our office and also audited
our site & a t Leeptkato, Assam. After sotosfactory and successful
auditing of the SHE systems, EPC division is awarded with the
ISO: 1400 I & OS li AS: 1800 I certification by TUV on 30th
November2012 .

from Ashok Leyland. The award ceremony was held at Chennoi on 6th & 7th
November. The award was handed over by Mr. Choru Bolsore, ED PSB-Ashok
Leyolond during loymeet 20 12, an event a ttended by hundreds o f leading
genset dealers. Tho Ashok Leyland Award for quality is evidence of
performance and delivery of high quality d iesel generators by C&S Himoinso.
