Hertz is the largest car rental company in the world and we operate an International Service Centre in Swords, Co. Dublin. Angelique held the position of General Accountant for the French market. In this role, Angelique was responsible for the daily and monthly general accounting processes. She was also responsible for performing the required accounting calculations and entries, gaining an in-depth understanding of workflow with a view to standardisation and re-engineering. The main responsibilities of this role were as follows:

• To gain in-depth understanding and knowledge of the accounting tasks, accounting treatment and reporting.

• To perform monthly the required calculations and entries for sundry accruals, inventories, prepayments and any other general accounting as required.

• To manage monthly PO tasks including closure and accrual run.

• To assume responsibility for monthly fixed asset run and related entries and closure. Angelique was results driven, had an excellent understanding of French Accounting principles and consistently achieved or exceeded her targets.
