8th International Robotic Surgery Symposium & Workshop in Head & neck cancer

Dear my respected colleagues

We would like to express our full respect to those who leads minimally invasive,

functional preservation surgery for better treatment of head and neck cancer

patients.

The upcoming 8th International Robotic Surgery Symposium (8th IRSS) will be

held on October 27th (Sat) to 28th (Sun), 2018. We have pride and self-esteem

in this symposium to have pioneered a new horizon of robotic surgery for

head and neck cancer every year.

This year, we have prepared a more productive program than ever, with the

motto of ‘Moving Forward the New Generation of Robotic Head and Neck

Surgery’ to make a stepping stone of leading robotic surgery in the head and

neck field.

There will be 15 keynote lectures in 2 days about the New concept of robotic

surgery in pharyngeal and laryngeal cancer, Trials on progress, and the new

surgical robot with the World leading Keynote Lecture speakers (J. Scott

Magnuson, Neil D. Gross, Giuseppe Spriano, Eric J Moore, Snehal Patel, Chris

Holsinger, Akihiro Shiotani, Woong Youn Chung, Angkoon Anuwong, Michael

C. Singer, Enver Ozer, Umamaheswar Duvvuri, Se-Heon Kim, Luiz Paulo Kowalski,

Yoon Woo Koh).

In addition, 50 faculty members from 21 countries around the world will share

12 sessions discussing on recent updates in Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS),

Se-Heon Kim, M.D., Ph.D.

Robotic Thyroid & Neck Surgery, and Robotic Sleep Surgery.

In particular, this year’s Live Surgery Session will go on to the TORS and

Retroauricular Neck Dissection using “daVinci SP” system, which is operated for

the first time in the world.

Please honor us with your presence and share your knowledge at the 8th IRSS.

Best regards,
