In partnership with the McAninch Arts Center and College of DuPage, the Cleve Carney Art Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition of works by Frida Kahlo coming to the Glen Ellyn campus in the Summer of 2020. This comprehensive presentation of the life and works of the artist Frida Kahlo will feature 26 original pieces as well as an immersive historical exhibit that provides a framework of the life, circumstances and events that led to Kahlo becoming one of the most important painters of the 20th century and of our time. In preparation for this exhibition, the gallery is undergoing an expansion and will be closed in Fall of 2019, reopening in 2020 as Cleve Carney Museum of Art.
