    RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 002 TO DE SAPIO

    CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR THE RESTORATION OF THE LOUIS I. KAHN

    TRENTON BATH HOUSE AND DAY CAMP PAVILIONS AT THE EWING SENIOR

    AND COMMUNITY CENTER

    Resolution #10R- WHEREAS, Ewing Township has received grants from the County ofMercer for the restoration of the non-historic elements of the Louis I. Kahn Trenton Bath Houseand Day Camp Pavilions located at the Ewing Senior & Community Center; and

    WHEREAS, the Township awarded a contract for a portion of said work to DeSapioConstruction, Inc.; and

    WHEREAS, as a result of site conditions, it is necessary to make additions and deletions as setforth in the Change Order submitted to the County of Mercer and the Township of Ewing onSeptember 21, 2010 as annexed hereto increasing the Contract amount by $25,838.74 to be$568,713.75; and

    WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has provided a Certification of Funds;

    NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township ofEwing that it hereby approves of the Change Order No. 002 dated September 21, 2010 assubmitted by DeSapio Construction, Inc. on September 21, 2010 increasing the Contract amountby $25,838.74 to be $568,713.75; and

    BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and appropriate officials are hereby authorizedto execute the Change Order as presented.

    I, Stephen W. Elliott, Municipal Clerk of the Township of Ewing, hereby certify that theabove is a true copy of a Resolution adopted by the Governing Body of the Township of

    Ewing at a Regularly Scheduled Meeting of the Municipal Council of the Township of

    Ewing, County of Mercer, State of New Jersey held on the 28th

    day of September, 2010.
