ACT OF CONTRITION O, My God, I am heartily sorry for

having offended thee, and I detest all my sins because I dread the loss of Heaven and the pains of Hell, but most of all because they offended you, my God, who are all- good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve with the help of thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen.

Dear Padre Pio, for 50 years your body bore the wounds of Christ and you suffered willingly as a victim for others. You never took off the crown of thorns yet always had time to talk, to listen and to pray. Intercede for me now, for you once said “As the pearls are held together by a thread, thus virtues are held together by charity; as the pearls fall when the thread breaks, thus virtues are lost if charity diminishes.” Amen.

This novena prayer was recited everyday by Padre Pio for all those who asked his prayers.

Go to the Madonna. Love her! Always say the Rosary.

Say it well. Say it as often as you can! Be souls of prayer. Never tire of praying,

it is what is essential. Prayer shakes the Heart of God,

it obtains necessary graces!
