Your Thoughts What if you were completely against God

and did not want anyone to know Him, what would you do? If you wanted to completely get rid of who God is, what would you do? I would attack the strongest revelation of Him to people. What is the strongest revelation of God to mankind? According to Romans 1:20 it is creation. Knowing that Satan, God’s enemy, wants to completely get rid of Him, we would expect to see an attack against the strongest revelation of Him to mankind. Satan has strategically attacked creation. We see this attack in the teaching and promotion of evolution. Read II Peter 3:3-7. This does not take God by surprise. Peter wrote 2,000 years ago warning us today that this very thing would happen. He told us that people would deny three things: the creation account, a world-wide flood, and a future judgment. Does any of this sound familiar? This should increase and strengthen our faith in God and His Word. Satan has done a tremendous job permeating and infecting American thinking and education.

Realize That God Loves You. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16).

The Bible Says That All Men Are Sinners. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory to God.” (Romans 3:23).

God’s Word Also Says That Sin Must Be Paid For. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

The Good News Is That Christ Paid for Our Sins. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8).

We Must Personally Pray and Receive Christ by Faith as Our Personal Saviour. The Bible Says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13).

Evolution is this Attempt Evolution is a theory to explain the origins of life and creation naturally without the need of God. It is a theory that Charles Darwin popularized in 1859. It is the theory that all living forms in the world originated from a single source which itself came from an inorganic form. It is molecules to man through time, chance, & struggle. The idea that complex life came from simple life. It ultimately allows for a way to explain creation without any need for a master designer. Religion is defined as a cause, principle, or a system of beliefs held to with passion and faith. Evolution is a religion. It is a belief system about the past based on the words of men who were not there

when it occurred. They are simply trying to explain all the present evidences of how creation originated. Neither creationists or evolutionists were there when the origin of life occurred. Both sides exercise faith or a belief in words of someone else.

Read Romans 1:21-28. Some people do not seek God or want to have His existence or presence retained in their minds. Therefore these people need a way to explain all the present evidences of creation without God. The Bible says the naturally minded man, “changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever.” These people took the truth, twisted and changed it into a complete lie. It says they worship the creature, which is man, more than God.

Evolution is a theory to explain the evidences we see today of something that happened long ago. This theory is taught many times like it is complete truth but that is not the case at all. It boils down to who’s word we will allow to be the authority. We either take man’s word or God’s Word. Then we will view all the evidence found through that lens. Viewing all the scientific findings and evidences found today through the lens of God’s word completely confirms the account of creation given in Genesis. It is vitally important that we take the truths taught in God’s Word and then look out to see what evidences we should find today that confirm the truths being taught. This is taking God’s Word as the authority. As we look at the evidences and scientific findings, we will see there are multiple major issues that disprove the theory of evolution. It does not take a science degree to study and see the discrepancies. Why then is it taught as truth? We must remember that God told us in II Peter 3:3-7 that people will by choice try to rule God out of their minds, hearts, and lives. Promotion of evolution is their solution. Why People Prefer Evolution over Truth

Peter helps us to understand the reason people accept and promote evolution in II Peter 3:5. The Bible says, “they willingly are ignorant of” the creation account and the world-wide flood. Willingly means by one’s own choice. They want to and do it cheerfully. Ignorant means destitute of knowledge, untaught, and uniformed. Men today allow themselves to remain ignorant of the truth.Why? 1. Fossil evidence- There have been no in-between fossils found to prove evolution. All variations found are within the same species. After 120 years of research since Charles Darwin, who himself said the lack of fossil evidence was the best evidence against his theory, there is less evidence for evolution and more for intelligent design. Fossils point to a world-wide flood and creation by an intelligent Designer- God. Complex animal life is found at the lowest and supposed oldest layers. Trees and other objects are found protruding through millions of years of evolutionary thinking and point to a catastrophic flood that laid down billions of dead things buried in rock that happened quickly, not over millions of years. There have been multiple unfossilized dinosaur bones found with organic remains and soft tissue disproving their existence from millions of years to just thousands.

2. Natural selection is not evolution. It does not produce the new information needed to create. It operates on the genetic information already present. It only eliminates the unfit. It does not explain the “arrival of the fit”. Darwin’s finches, sticklebacks, and other animals observed all stay the same kind. There is variation within kinds of species which God gives and allows. A change to a different kind has never been observed. God created by kinds and allows reproduction only within those kind boundaries and this is what we find.

3. DNA is the complex information that life is built upon. New discoveries points back to two original parents using real world mutations at roughly 6,000 years ago. Mutations & natural selection reveal that these alleged engines of evolution actually corrupt & destroy genetic info rather than create & enhance it. Our genetics are actually running backwards from evolution theory. We are regressing in information not progressing. God created all humans from Adam and Eve and we are not getting better but worse because of sin and the curse.

4. Genetics- Evolution requires an expansion in the gene pool, the addition of new genes with new information. Mutation and natural selection no matter how long you wait cannot produce it.

5. The origin of life- The origin of the genetic code is a brick-wall to evolution. The genetic code is without any function unless it is translated. Protein machines are needed to read the DNA, but the instructions to build these protein machines are themselves encoded on the DNA. The information in our genes points to a master designer creating us with the information. This complex information can not just happen no matter how long you wait.

6. Radiometric dating is completely unreliable. Mt. St. Helen’s eruption in 1984 gave age ranges from 350,000 to 2.5 million years. Dating in coal and diamonds has been found in vast contradiction to their geological age given.
