CADWorx Plant - continuedEquipment modelling• Pressure Vessel• Pump

Piping• Pipe Routing• CADWorx Assembly Manager• P&ID View• Pipe Support Modeller• Pipe Support Assembly Modeller ISOGEN isometricsOrthoGen orthographics

CADWorx fieldPipe Professional demonstration• Hand scanner and plastic piping model• As-built modelling from point clouds

Try CADWorx Plant for yourself with ‘hands-on’ training. See how CADWorx is intuitive and easy to use right out of the Box. When you register for this Track we will forward software and a limited time license to install prior to the training on your own Laptop computer. After the training you will have additional time to evaluate the software in your own time. Our CADWorx Plant trainer will spend the morning showing you what the software is capable of and then after lunch it is your turn. The trainer will run through an example with CADWorx Plant building up a small plant with equipment, piping and steelwork before producing some typical deliverables. Note that you will need AutoCAD Release 2016 or earlier (to Version 2013 onwards) pre-installed on your Laptop.

12:30 - 13:30 LUNCH

13:30 - 15:00

CADWorx Plant - Chris ParkinSet-up, configuration and basic techniques• Accessing commands• Set up drawings, specification, line size• Rules• Line numbering• UCS manipulation and viewpoints

3D model creation• Equipment• Piping (Auto route, Auto connect, Auto weld)• Pipe supports• Editing the model

15:00 - 15:15 AFTERNOON BREAK

15:15 - 16:50

CADWorx Plant (continued) - Chris Parkin

• Using the Steel module (Sections, HVAC supports, Frames, stairs, baseplates etc.)

• Isometric (ISOGEN) set up and deliverables production

• Design Review

Track 2 – Analysis Track Seminar & ‘Hands-On’

8:20 - 8:50 REGISTRATION & COFFEE

8:50 - 9:00 Welcome and Introduction - Steve Gillott

9:00 - 10:30

BOSFluids - Chris Bradshaw • Overview of capabilities• Pipeline element for process design during FEED or early stages of a project• Geometry creation and interface with CAESAR II• Boundary conditions, steady state calculations, pressure drop, flow rate…• Transient analysis example• Generation of data for auto import into CAESAR II

CAESAR II - Chris Bradshaw

• Overview of capabilities• Introduction and set up• Geometry creation and interfaces with CADWorx• Methods of model creation – creating a simple model

• Using the 3D plant model in the engineering ‘analysis’ design space – CADWorx Plant inside CAESAR II• Model refinements for code/equipment compliance – why FEATools? • Solving flexibility problems without design changes• What about Dynamics? – using BOSFluids data for quick and easy Time History analysis

10:30 - 10:45 MORNING BREAK

10:45 - 12:20

FEATools - Tony Paulin

• What is it?• Typical uses• New capabilities and benefits in Version 3.00 (advanced tee/bend data, nozzle data,

pipe/vessel support data, CAESAR II Scan technology ….)• 3D Model review within FEATools to assist data input• Automatic CAESAR II model update• Output review – graphical and tabular data – no more separate model output in Excel/Word…

see easy comparisons at a glance of various CAESAR II models via 2D and 3D plots• Some examples – see how you can save time and money in the analysis phase of

your project

12:20 - 12:30 Q&A

Try our Analysis Tools* for yourself with ‘hands-on’ training. In the morning session we will show a Process – Design – Engineer-ing – Code Compliance – Deliverables workflow. You will see how data can be shared between process design and engineering and then used again in a refinement process designed to meet with design code requirements in a transparent FEA process. You will see how the analysis model can be automatically refined with nozzle flexibilities, tee flexibilities and even support allowables to reduce or eliminate those unwanted design changes. After lunch it is your turn to put into practice some of the techniques demonstrated during the morning session in a FREE ‘hands on’ tutorial. When you register for this Track we will forward software and limited time licenses for all software to install prior to the training on your own Laptop computer. After the training you will have additional time to evaluate the software in your own time.*BOS Fluids, CAESAR II and FEATools

13:30 - 15:00

BOSFluids - Chris Bradshaw

• Simple Pressure Drop calculation• Adding boundary conditions• Creating scenarios – Steady State and Transient analysis• Output review, 2D plots and creation of CAESAR II data

CAESAR II - Chris Bradshaw

• Creation of simple model• Static analysis and output review• Using BOSFluids data

15:00 - 15:15 AFTERNOON BREAK

15:15 - 16:50
