The trick is to make a joke at the most appropriate moment... Keyword is diffusing the situation.

Something that would make him/her laugh or at least crack a smile. I do it with my gf all the

time... unfortunately sometimes it won't work and makes the situation worse. At least of the two

need to have a calm head in the relationship.
