The 9th Annual International Behavioral Medicine Conference is designed to help realize Doctors Hospital at Renaissance’s vision of addressing our community’s health needs while eliminating the need to seek health care services outside of our region. The content covers the difficult issues of behavioral health management in clinical practice, and the frequent and perplexing disorders where psychiatric illness presents as physical disease.

The program is designed for Primary Care Physicians, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Advance Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Allied health professionals, Nurses, and Law Enforcement Officials who have direct patient care.

Global Learning Objectives:- Recognize current trends in the use of synthetic drugs - Identify treatment approaches for a range of issues in mental health, behavioral health, addictions and co-occurring disorders- Recognize current advances in the diagnosis and treatment of Bipolar Disorder
