I N THE eighty-fifth volume of the Proceedings of the Amer-ican Antiquarian Society appeared the first two installmentsof the list describing Loyalist manuscripts in repositoriesalong the Atlantic coast from Maine through Maryland, andalso in the District of Columbia, for a total of about threehundred pages. This Part III continues that list to includethe states from Virginia through Florida. The next install-ment will cover holdings in the rest of the nation, includingseveral of its most prestigious libraries. It will then be in-dexed all together.

The third edition of Political Works of Concealed AuthorshipRelating to the United States, 1789-1810 (Hamden, Conn.:The Shoe String Press, 1972), compiled by the writer, wasreleased to the publisher early in 1971. Continued searchingand a slightly broader scope have produced the 121 additionsand the amendments set forth below. In major part the addi-tions are from bibliographies, but 16 are from biographies, 14from histories, and 16 from miscellaneous sources. Alto-gether 191 sources have produced attributions of authorshipof 1056 anonymous or pseudonymous political works.
