SCHOOL LIBRARIES

We have a library in each school. But they are very poor. The majority of books are old. The material is not useful. We can’t find there some books that we need to read for school.We would like to have some contemporary Books there . We also would like to have some computers connected to internet there. Our libraries seems to be just a store for textbooks and that’s all.

He will not find it in the school libraries and may be even in little public libraries. Only in about 50% of the cases he might find this book in the city library. But probably he would not be allowed to take it at home or to take it just for several days. We think that way because many teenagers want to read the books from 21th century. But, unfortunately, our libraries don’t have such books.

3. If a teenager wants to read a book will he find it in the library, why?

4. WHAT ARE THE WAYS TO GET MORE BOOKS FOR THE LIBRARY?

a) to ask people to donate books they don’t need.b) to organize charity events to get money for libraries and to buy new books.c) to ask different companies for funding the libraries.d) to create a project and to participate in different founding competitions. e) to create programs of free exchanging of the books between the readers.

5. Is the electronic library a great idea, why?

We think that the electronic library is a great idea. It has a lot of benefits. Many people can read the samebook at the same time. It is more accessible. You canuse the electronic library anywhere there is an internet connection. It is easier to manage such a library. So people will definitely like it. We just need somebody to create it.

6. The main reasons people don’t read nowadays?

• They are too busy working, studying• They are very tired by the end of the day• They think that TV and computer are more entertaining• Some of them think that it’s not cool to read

7. The main reasons students don’t want to read the books given by school program?

• The books are boring• The books are too complicated.• The books are too old and teenagers don’t understand

them.• The books are simple and meaningless

8. WHAT ARE THE ENTERTAINING WAYS TO MAKE PEOPLE READ?

To create clubs. It is very interesting to read a book all together and then, to discuss it.

To recommend people good books and to do a little review about them.

To organize contests and lotteries with good presents
