  • ENVIRONMENTAL DAY CELEBRATION:

    Environmental day celebration celebrated in the college by giving out 50 numbers of saplings to different students and teachers of our institution. A separate register is used to monitor the status of the saplings in the coming days.

    YOGA DAY :

    Yoga day was celebrated at the administrative block in the College Campus. The function was inaugurated by Principal of our institution. The training session was carried out by Smt. Amrutha ,Yoga trainer from Thiruvalla. The program had a good participation and all the students got a brief idea of what Yoga is.

  • VAYANA DINAM:

    Vayana Dinam was celebrated in the college campus by setting up a new section of literal books in the college library. The books were collected from the teachers and staffs. By the active involvement of the volunteers hundreds of books were collected and the program was inaugurated by our Principal M G Anilkumar.

  • CAMPUS CLEANING:

    As a part of Clean Kerala campaign, the volunteers cleaned the surroundings of the campus.

    The program was leaded by the volunteer secretary and this marked the beginning of the pre-raining cleaning programs of the institution.

    HIROSHIMA AND NAGASAKI DAY:

  • During world war II, the US army detonated two nuclear weapons over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. There are victims still in these two cities because of this. The NSS volunteers made a poster competition and Quiz program in the College.

    FLOOD RELIEF ACTIVITIES:

    Our state was badly affected by the flood during the month of August. Pathanamthitta district was severely affected. Hundreds of people lost their lives and the entire damage costs about eight thousand crore rupees. The volunteers also made their great effort in rescuing people as well as helping the affected by collecting food and other materials as well as dress items. Also, a disaster relief cell and made cleaning, repairing and survey works at Ranni,Perunad Panchayaths and also at Thiruvalla area. The electrical wiring at Ranni pre-matric hostel and an Anganvadi at Ranni was repaired by the team members. The Volunteers made their effort as co-ordinators at Pathanamthitta Indoor stadium which worked as the main collection centre of materials for distributing to various in and around the city.

  • The survey works of LSGD sections of three grama panchayaths –Ranni,Perunad,Kuttoor were assisted by the volunteers as a part of the Rebuild Kerala Scheme.The volunteers also made a fund raising program and donated an amount of 8000 rupees to CMDRF.

  • Ozone day celebration:

    Ozone day is celebrated with the students of Govt.LPS vattukunnu.The volunteers tried their level best to understand each student how to protect ozone layer.They were instructed not to burn plastic wastes as it s harmful to the ozone layer.
