Mama Esther Kerubo was able and healthy enjoying her house chores and farming activities until she was taken ill in the year 2011 when she complained of breathing difficulties and was attended by Dr. Ng’etich (Consultant Surgeon) and Dr. Ogada (Consultant Cardiologist) both from Nakuru. She was diagnosed as having collapsed her left lungs not able to breathe oxygen adequately in her body. She was put under appropriate medication for all this ******. After undergoing a chest ****** procedure on 28 th at Nakuru Heart Centre Hospital in Nakuru. Mama’s condition worsened and she died of pneumonia. The family records their gratitude to Moses Nyamao (Kitui Level 5 Hospital) Everlyne Nyamase Nyairo, Nancy Mokono, Dr. Ongeri, Dr. Ng’etich, and Dr. Ogada among others for their interventions during mama’s sickness and treatment. She passed on on28th November 2015 at the age of 70years. She is survived with 8 children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by her family, relatives, friends and those who knew her. TRIBUTES By Sons Kennedy, Henry and Richard. “You were our shepherd and guide after the early death of our father. We hope that our late father Yuvinalis Onditi Manyara would be proud of you wherever he is for having taken of his family. Fare thee well till we meet again.” By Daughters Abisiba, Jenifer, winfridah, Rose and Lydia. “You were our mentor friend and loving mother; we shall miss your guidance but commit you wholly to the Lord our God. We all loved you but God loved you more. What engulfed was a flame lilac, Tears like rain from sky not blue, The sorrow that’s felt, Can never measure the joy you gave, But it’s your life that we celebrate, Lived with all of life’s colours, Not forgetting violet too.
